La troisième Edition du Forum China-Europa

Près de 60 ateliers, classés en 9 thèmes, ont participé à la troisième édition du Forum China-Europa, précédée en 2009 par 12 ateliers. Les ateliers ont été organisés entre les 8 et 11 juillet 2010 dans différentes villes de Chine comme Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou ou encore Hong Kong et Macao. La session plénière s'est déroulée à l'Université Polytechnique de Hong Kong du 12 au 14 juillet.

卡蓝默主席会见白刚副市长

3月26号，卡蓝默主席在于硕总监的陪同下，就第三届论坛的合作事宜与成都副市长白刚先生进行了亲切会谈。白刚副市长对即将在2010年7月举行的第三届中欧社会论坛表示热切支持，并期待能在都江堰开办分论坛。他认为成都具备举办国际会议的能力，一方面深厚的历史文化积淀塑造了成都人的包容性、世界性；另一方面第二个西部开发计划是成都和世界的全新机会，亟需世界高层次的专家、学者共同参与。成都的发展和中欧社会论坛的话题十分契合，白刚副市长表示，成都应当是卡蓝默主席一行的目的地，而非访问地。待到未来第五届论坛重回中国之时，也是成都积极争取主办权的时候。卡兰默主席对成都市给予论坛的支持表示高度认同，并表达了感谢之情。他说，伟大文明的最基本内涵永远不会是物质能量。城市作为未来世界治理新模式的重要单位，其整合能力甚至超越了国家。因此，成都以城市身份加入到中欧社会论坛中来，具有极大的现实意义。他还表示，论坛是世界人民的共同财富，每个人不仅有参与决定的权利，还有参与维护和发展的义务。卡蓝默主席与白刚副市长的交谈促进了论坛与成都市之间的合作，并为未来的合作计划做了良好铺垫。

Pierre Calame Rencontre le Président de l'Université Renmin M. Ji Baocheng

Le 25 Mars 2010, à 9h30, le Président de la Fondation China-Europa Forum, M. Calame a tenu une réunion avec le président de l'Université de Renmin, M. Ji Baocheng. Ils ont discuté de l'élaboration du Forum China-Europa et de leur coopération.

Au cours de la discussion, M. Calame a présenté l'expérience et les réalisations du Forum au cours des cinq dernières années. Il a dit que la création du forum est une tentative d'explorer un nouveau mode de dialogue entre les sociétés chinoise et européenne avec l'espoir d'attirer des gens de différents domaines. Le succès de la deuxième réunion biennale tenue en 2007, sur la base de la première, a aidé le Forum à devenir un moyen important de dialogue dans le long terme entre la Chine et l'Europe. Durant la discussion M.Calame a exprimé sa gratitude pour le soutien et l'aide offerte par l'Université Renmin, et pour le rôle important de l'université de Renmin dans l'élaboration du Forum.

Après avoir écouté l'introduction de M.Calame, M. Ji Baocheng a loué les réalisations du Forum et son rôle positif dans la communication entre la Chine et l'Europe. Il a dit que les relations entre les deux régions ne devraient pas se limiter aux échanges économiques et qu'il était très important de relier les deux cultures. La création du Forum China-Europa permet d'explorer une voie efficace pour la coopération civile. M. Ji Baocheng a exprimé sa volonté de coopérer avec le Forum China-Europa afin d'établir un mécanisme de long terme. Il prêtera son concours pour la réunion de la troisième biennale ainsi que pour le développement futur du Forum.

A la fin de la réunion M.Calame a invité M. Ji Baocheng à assister à la troisième réunion biennale qui se tiendra à Hong Kong au milieu du mois de juillet. M. Ji Baocheng a accepté l'invitation avec plaisir et a dit qu'il assisterait à la réunion.

On March 25, 2010,at 9:30am, the Chairman of China-Europa Forum Foundation Mr. Calame held a meeting with the president of Renmin University Mr. Ji Baocheng. They discussed the development of the China-Europa Forum and the cooperation on it.

In the process of discussion, Mr. Calame introduced the experience and the achievements of the Forum during the passed five years. He said that the establishment of the forum was an attempt to explore a new way of dialogue between Chinese and European societies with a hope of attracting people of different fields. The success of the second biennial meeting held in 2007 on the basis of the first one helped the Forum to become a substantial way of dialogue between China and Europe in the long run. In the discussion Mr.Calame expressed his gratitude for the support and help offered by Renmin University, and he thought highly of the role of Renmin University in the development of the Forum.

After listening to the introduction of Mr.Calame, Mr. Ji Baocheng praised the achievement of the Forum and its positive role in the communication between China and Europe. He said that the intercourse between two sides shouldn't be confined to economic trade and it was very important to link up the cultures of the two sides. The establishment of China-Europa Forum explored an effective way for such civil cooperation. Mr. Ji Baocheng expressed his willingness to cooperate with China-Europa Forum to establish a long-term mechanism and lend his help in the third biennial meeting as well as the future development of the Forum.

At the end of the meeting Mr.Calame invited Mr. Ji Baocheng to attend the third biennial meeting which would be held in Hong Kong in the middle of July. Mr. Ji Baocheng accepted the invitation with pleasure and said that he would attend the meeting on time.

Pierre Calame interviewing at Qiangguo BBS

The president of the China-Europa forum Pierre Calame had an interview at Qiangguo BBS on the People Net on March 25. Mr. Calame answered the questions asked by Chinese netizens about the topic of transformation to a sustainable society.

Mr. Calame said we don't lack global systems for coordination. We need the most is the mode of thinking and the movers who are able to achieve the course of action for a sustainable society. He also mentioned those counties having great civilization are quite aware of the importance of thinking and solving the problems in the development.

He gave a definition of a sustainable society when asked by the netizens. A sustainable society depends on three relations, between people, between societies, and between human being and biosphere. And we are not dealing very well with the three relations right now.

The interview lasted for one and half an hour. Mr. Calame said he is an old friend of Qiangguo BBS and he hopes China-Europa forum can bring some changes for the two societies.
